Mern Henry, President and CEO
Mern Henry brings over 20 years of executive management experience in the healthcare field. Prior to starting Lazer Points, Inc. Mern held several top nursing positions for Hospital Corporation of America throughout Florida including Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Ft. Pierce, Doctor's Hospital in Sarasota, Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, and Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville. She worked as Clinical Coordinator for Computerized Thermal Imaging, Inc. where she managed clinical research sites and was a member of the sales force for laser related & thermal imaging products. Mern worked as a nurse practitioner for a private physician in Ft. Walton Beach , Florida and was a Captain in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps, serving at Eglin AFB in Florida as well as bases in Louisiana and Labrador .
Mern is licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida . She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stephens College in Columbia , Missouri and her Master of Science degree from Troy State University in Troy , Alabama . She was appointed to the Florida State Board of Nursing by Governor Bob Graham and served as President of the Board for four years.
